Sir Rod Stewart is bringing his Hits! world tour to the Hunter Valley in 2020

Sir Rod Stewart is returning to Australia in 2020 for an eight-date tour across the country, playing both arenas and winery dates.
The tour will stop off at Roche Estate in the Hunter Valley on October 24.
Warner Music will honour the legendary singer-songwriter with a new album to be released November 22 this year which will allow fans to hear Stewart's biggest hits with his classic vocal style set to full orchestral arrangements. You're In My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra pairs classic vocal tracks from his most popular songs with new arrangements performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Stewart is this year celebrating 50 years as a solo artist. The legendary singer-songwriter is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 250 million records sold worldwide during a stellar career that includes nine No.1 albums and 26 Top 10 singles in the UK. Plus, 17 Top 10 albums and 16 Top 10 singles in the US.
As a singer and songwriter his many hits include You Wear It Well, You're in My Heart, Tonight's the Night, Gasoline Alley, Every Picture Tells a Story, Mandolin Wind, Sailing, The Killing of Georgie, Young Turks, Forever Young, Hot Legs, Infatuation, Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Some Guys Have All The Luck and Maggie May.
Stewart has earned countless of the industry's highest awards, among them; two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, GrammyTM Living Legend.
In 2016 he officially became Sir Rod Stewart after being knighted at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity. He has performed for millions of fans on six continents, even holding the record for the largest-ever free concert, for an estimated 4.2 million in Rio de Janeiro on New Year's Eve in 1996.
Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9am (local time) on Friday, November 22. For complete tour, ticket and VIP Experience information, visit: livenation.com.au

Lollo Meier

December 3rd, 8pm

Raised on Gypsy Swing from an early age, Lollo Meier is a master guitarist, composer, bandleader and arranger; Lollo comes from an elite family of Gypsy musicians and is cousin to two of the greatest guitarists of the genre; Fapy Lafertin and Stochelo Rosenberg. His goal: to carry on the music of Django Reinhardt, with a style and technique that’s traditional, melodious, lyrical, sensitive and joyful. His mellifluous compositions have a refreshing authentic Django flavour and are played with extraordinary talent, unique style and amazing suppleness that clearly reflects that he makes music he loves. His Quartet is sought after around the globe and is famous for playing the lesser-known Reinhardt tunes and his own compositions. A man of style, grace and humour, Lollo’s pure melodious playing touches his audiences and makes Django’s music as fresh today as it was 80 years ago.
“It felt like the legendary Django Reinhardt was performing again” Zutphen Paper “We lit a candle and were given grace, so much beauty, so much harmony and so much variation and so much of Lollo”. Pedro Ramacher - Dutchnews.nl
